Die Sopranistin Majda Ritschl begann ihre sängerische Ausbildung in Wien bereits im Alter von 15 Jahren. Sie absolvierte ihr Gesangsstudium an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien bei Elke Nagl und Lydia Vierlinger und schloss dieses 2022 mit Auszeichnung ab.
Bereits gegen Ende des Studiums zeichnete sich ein Wechsel in das dramatische Fach ab, welches sie zurzeit mit Monika Riedler vertieft. Weitere prägende, künstlerische Impulse erhielt sie von KS Linda Watson, Marcin Koziel, Stephen Delaney, György Handl und Amira El-Hamalawi. 

In Niederösterreich und Wien tritt sie regelmäßig als Solistin im Bereich der Kirchenmusik auf. Ein Highlight war unter anderem eine ORF Live-Übertragung im Wiener Stephansdom beim Begräbnis des Weihbischofs Helmut Krätzl unter der Leitung von Domkapellmeister Markus Landerer.

Auch im Bereich Lied gibt sie regelmäßig Konzerte. Ihr Repertoire umfasst Zyklen wie Frauenliebe und -leben von R. Schumann sowie Zigeunerlieder von J. Brahms.
Lieder von R. Strauss, Clara Schumann, G. Fauré, H. Duparc und viele andere. Auch im Wienerlied hat sie sich bereits ein beachtliches Repertoire erarbeitet.

Im Mai 2024 hatte sie ihr Rollendebut als "Mutter" in Humperdincks Hänsel und Gretel.

2025 gewann sie einen Sonderpreis bei The 4th Vienna International Classic Singing Competition.

2026 gewann sie den 1. Preis bei Classic Pure Vienna Music Competition.

Majda Ritschl ist auch als Gesangspädagogin tätig. Neben der Arbeit als klassische Sängerin, gründete sie auch das Pop-Trio The Grooove Girls, mit denen sie regelmäßig auftritt. 

The Austrian spinto soprano Majda Ritschl began her vocal training in Vienna at the age of 15. She completed her vocal studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Elke Nagl and Lydia Vierlinger and graduated with honours in 2022.
Already towards the end of her studies she made the transition to the dramatic fach, which she is currently exploring with Monika Riedler. She received further formative artistic impulses from KS Linda Watson, Marcin Koziel, Stephen Delaney und Amira El-Hamalawi.

The soprano regularly performs as a soloist for sacred music in Lower Austria and Vienna. Highlights include a live ORF broadcast in St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna for the funeral of Auxiliary Bishop Helmut Krätzl under the direction of Cathedral Conductor Markus Landerer.

A regular performer of Lied recitals, her repertoire including cycles such as Frauenliebe und -leben by R. Schumann and Zigeunerlieder by J. Brahms, songs by R. Strauss, Clara Schumann, G. Fauré, H. Duparc and many others.
She has also developed a considerable repertoire in the Wienerlied (traditional Viennese song) genre.

In 2024 she made her debut as "Mutter" in Humperdincks Hänsel und Gretel.

In 2025 she won an honorable mention at The 4th Vienna International Classic Singing Competition.

In 2026 she won the first prize at Classic Pure Vienna Music Competition.

Majda Ritschl as well works as a singing teacher. In addition to her work as a classical singer, she founded the pop trio “The Grooove Girls”, with whom she regularly performs.
